TrakCare’s Patients Administration Module – PASTRAK, enables a facility to easily and effectively manages waiting lists, outpatients, inpatients, and emergency patients, as well as the booking of hospital resources. Central to patient engagement in PASTRAK is the ability to define patient and data flow. TrakCare implements the concept of location queues for accurate patient tracking.

Administrative documents such as letters and patient identification papers can be scanned and attached to the admission record for subsequent retrieval and printing. This eliminates the need for filing the original documents and also ensures that the document is always available when needed. Information relating to patients is routed to the relevant departments/locations based on the policies of the hospital. PASTRAK also offers the ability to produce discharge summary reports for the patients’ GP.

TrakCare’s Clinical Module – CLINTRAK, provides a set of tools that assist in the management of patient clinical information. It incorporates the Clinical Workbench that enables clinicians to manage their responsibilities and improve patient care. The workbench offers the ‘e-prescribing’ tool for clinicians to place electronic orders for their patients.

CLINTRAK assists in the management of the patient’s clinical information to enable fast and accurate decision-making by medical and nursing staff, making adverse drug events a thing of the past.

TrakCare’s Laboratory Module – LABTRAK, is a comprehensive pathology laboratory system for the complete and accurate capture of patient test and specimen data. It was designed specifically to streamline the diverse activities of laboratories in the areas of; haematology, blood bank, biochemistry, immunology, serology, microbiology, histology/cytology, specimen/request registration and accounts receivable.

All data, whether it is collection, testing, service charges, clinical history or financial data is maintained on-line. This data is then used by the laboratory to support activity analysis and strategic planning. The functionality of LABTRAK is focussed not only on the capture of information but also the exporting of information. Automatic faxing of results, the ability to access the system remotely, accessing lab results inquiries via the Internet, and the scanning of source documents are all possible through LABTRAK.

TrakCare’s Emergency Department Module – EDTRAK, is a comprehensive application encompassing the recording of both the administrative and clinical details, specifically relating to a patient’s attendance at the Emergency Department.

EDTRAK allows for easy data-entry and retrieval, for tasks such as triage, patient tracking, medical record requests, clinical data, placing orders and discharge summaries.  Staff can record patient movements with simple ‘drag and drop’ functionality.  Information such as patient waiting time, priority, allergies and history is all displayed in a user-friendly interface so that the required information is on-hand, at all times.

TrakCare’s Pharmacy Module – PHARMTRAK, is a drug information and stock control system that supports the pharmacy department within a hospital and/or retail pharmacy.

PHARMTRAK includes the ability to dispense drugs against the drug medication orders and/or prescription for patients. The medications can be for one-time use or can be repeated over a period of time. The Pharmacy Stock and Purchasing function offers a tool for managing the inventory of the hospital’s drug and other consumables such as medical, surgical and laboratory items. It includes keeping track of the movements of individual items as well as any purchasing details.

TrakCare’s Case Management Module – CASETRAK, is a specific tool for the management of care relating to services such as; Community Health, Mental Health, Palliative care, Allied Health and Community Nursing.

Information stored within CASETRAK is made available through remote access from the patient’s home or aged care facility, ensuring continuity of care after the patient has been released from hospital.
